The organisers of the HUB have unfortunately had to take the decision to close the facility for the foreseeable future. They hope to re-open at a later date. They would like to thank everyone who has come along and enjoyed Wednesdays and Saturdays in the village hall.
Eggs will still be available to purchase every day, 7 days a week, from The Willows, next to the Black Horse Inn
from 10.30 - 11.30 am.
£1 or £1.25 per half dozen
The Hub New Saturday opening times will give those in the community who work during the week a chance to use our new facility. Wednesday opening hours will remain as they are now.
Join us for a bacon sandwich or a toasted tea cake on a Saturday morning, plus home baking to eat in or take away.
The HUB continues to grow in popularity and really could do with one or two additional volunteers for a Saturday. It could be just one session per month. If you are interested in helping, please tell any of the existing helpers or ring Jean (748066) who puts the rota together.
The Hub now has frozen sausages, chops, joints and steaks for sale, individually priced (in small portions), supplied by Sarah Green's Old and Berkshire pigs direct from her local farm. Plans are afoot for craft items to be available too. Good quality greeting cards at 50p continue to sell well and new ranges have just been added - do take a look!
