Although you can always pay at the door, we (who do the catering for these events and like to have some idea of numbers) REALLY DO appreciate it if, before the event you can buy your ticket as above.

APRIL
Thursday 24th 7pm
Armchair Cinema showing Bridge of Spies
During the Cold War, the Soviet Union captures US pilot Francis Gary Powers after shooting down his U-2 spy plane. Sentenced to 10 years in prison, Powers only hope is New York layer James Donovan (Tom Hanks), recruited by a CIA operative to negotiate his release. Donovan boards a plane to Berlin, hoping to win the young man's freedom through a prisoner exchange. If all goes well, the Russians would get Rudolf Abel (Mark Rylance), the convicted spy who Donovan defended in court.

Kirkby Fleetham School - A Celebration
The Friends of the School are organising a farewell party and celebration of our school. All pupils, families, past and present are welcome, along with anyone from the community to help celebrate the wonderful years we have all had at this special little school. Fun activities for the children, a bouncy castle, climbing wall, face painting plus a chance to learn more about the 250 year history of the school. Refreshments will be available. Simon Dowson, who served with the Green Howards from 1977 - 1985 will be talking about The Green Howards, Alexandra Princess of Wales's own Yorkshire Regiment, from its raising in 1688 to its amalgamation into the Royal Yorkshire Regiment in 2005.
