Come and support your community

All events in the Village Hall unless stated otherwise.

Tickets available in advance from The HUB, or at the door, unless stated otherwise.

Although you can always pay at the door, we (who do the catering for these events and like to have some idea of numbers) REALLY DO appreciate it if, before the event you can buy your ticket as above.

Launch of our Village Hall events programme designed to promote community wellbeing as we emerge from the pandemic

Hambleton District Council's Making a Difference fund is helping the Village Hall to support a range of social and cultural events. Look out for posters because events will take place throughout the year. 

2022

MAY

Wednesday 18th 12.30pm

Black Horse Village lunch - no tickets required, just turn up.

Saturday 21st 7pm

Northallerton Rock Choir

will be in  concert at the Village Hall. Tickets £10, including supper, from The Hub, from May 1st, or Sheila 748066, Rosemary 748335, Ruth 748090

JUNE

Thursday 2nd - 6th

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Thursday 2nd from 7.30pm

Lighting of the Beacon on the Village Green

7pm Gather on the Green

7.15-8pm Food and drink will be available,  BBQ, Jubilee Tarts, drinks, Jubilee badge making for children

8pm Jubilee Beacons Proclamation followed by

KF Children's Brass play the National Anthem, Jubilee Song for the Commonwealth led by our Choir, Distribution of Jubilee gifts to Parish children, Dedication of Jubilee Oak Tree, Bagpiper will play 'Diu Regnare' Bugle Fanfare 'Majesty'

8.45pm Beacon Lighting

Saturday 4th 10.15-12noon

A Platinum Jubilee Coffee Morning will be in the Village Hall

Speciality coffees, cakes, scones, bacon butties, toasted teacakes - eat in or take away. Cake stall and raffle.

Why not buy a special cake for the Jubilee Picnic. Plus Fleetham & Fencotes Gardening Group's Plant Stall will be out front.

Sunday 5th from 2.30pm

Jubilee Picnic Tea on the Village Green

Kirkby Fleetham Feast has organised -

A big community picnic is planned to take place on the Green in the afternoon, with bring your own food and lots of decorations for the Jubilee. This will be our 'Street Party', joining in with those taking place all over the country on that day to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee with the Queen. Prizes for the best dressed picnic table/picnic rug. Special children's prize for the best CROWN.

120th Kirkby Fleetham Feast

Following two ears of cancellation due toCovid, the Feast is back. Check out the classes you'd like to enter at :

Raffle tickets for the Grand Draw will be on sale at events throughout the villages shortly - lots of great prizes to win.

The Feast is run by a committee of volunteers, if you are able to h help out in the run up to or on Feast Day,please get in touch  at kffeast@hotmail.com - new helpers are all welcome.
