Tickets available in advance from The HUB, or at the door, unless stated otherwise.

Although you can always pay at the door, we (who do the catering for these events and like to have some idea of numbers) REALLY DO appreciate it if, before the event you can buy your ticket as above.

Armchair Cinema showing the Great Escaper

The Great Escaper is a 2023 biographical drama film directed by Oliver Parker, written by William Ivory and starring Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson. It is based on the true story of 89 year old British World War II Royal Navy  v cetera Bernard Jordan who 'broke out' of his nursing home to attend the 70th anniversary D Day commemorations in France in June 2014.

Carol advises that closed toe shoes and appropriate clothing is worn, you may wish to bring gardening gloves too as added protection from the wire.

During World War II, Lt. Gen. Leslie Groves Jr. appoints physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer to work on the top-secret Manhattan Project. Oppenheimer and a team of scientists spend years developing and designing the atomic bomb.
